With Halloween falling on a school day this year, we would like to discourage students from wearing outfits/costumes that distract from the learning environment. The following are guidelines are for October 31st:
No masks will be allowed. If face paint is used, students must be fully identifiable.
No inflatable costumes
No replica weapons of any type are allowed.
Outfits must fall within proper school dress code guidelines. (Please refer to page 15 in the Western Sierra 2023-24 Parent and Student Supplemental Handbook located on the website if you have any questions about the dress code.)
Administration reserves the right to make decisions regarding the appropriateness of any costumes worn on campus.
